Case Study: FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar

In 2022, Qatar hosted one of the most spectacular football events in history—the FIFA World Cup. This grand spectacle was hailed by critics and sports enthusiasts alike as one of the greatest tournaments ever held. RÖDER was proud to be one of the key builders for this monumental event, contributing significantly to the infrastructure that made it a success.

Our team was responsible for the construction of the hospitality zone, which included a two-storey VIP area designed to give guests an unparalleled experience. The first floor was a spacious 15x20 B-level structure, while the second floor was a 10x20 Solution with an open terrace offering stunning views of the festivities below.


In addition to the hospitality area, we also built a large indoor ice rink using a Solution 30x70x6 design. This unique attraction featured real ice and hosted performances by talented artists, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the event.


We also created a vibrant games area within a Solution 30x40x6 structure, where visitors could enjoy a variety of video games and model car displays, ensuring there was something for everyone.

To support the event's operations, we constructed 22 Pagoda structures that served multiple purposes, including medical centers, storage facilities, and dining area shelters. These versatile constructions were essential in providing the necessary services to both guests and staff.

Lastly, we designed a sleek glass office for the event organizers using the W-TENT 2x5 structure, ensuring that they had a functional and stylish space to manage the event.
